For many, living on campus is a totally new experience. While it is a blast, it can be overwhelming. Area Coordinators (ACs) and Resident Advisors (RAs) are there to make sure your transition goes as smoothly as possible and to ensure the well-being of all campus residents. If you ever have a problem, feel free to contact your RA or RD.
Area Coordinators: ACs are professional staff members who coordinate and oversee the residence program of a particular residence hall. They work with the Assistant Dean for Residence Life and oversee the Resident Assistants.
Resident Assistants: RAs are trained students who assist the Area Coordinators in the implementation of the residence hall program. They are there to make the residence hall a pleasant place to live for everyone. Your RA is also available to help you find answers to any questions you may have about academics or campus life.
For more information, contact the Assistant Dean of Residence Life, Suzanne Mullins, at 423.652.4743 or via e-mail at smmullins@king.edu.
