Open a web browser and go here and then click on Log into student email.
Enter your windows live ID. This is your first initial, middle initial and full last name followed by @student.king.edu. For example: John Andrew Doe would use jadoe@student.king.edu If you have a space in your name it must be removed.
Enter your password. The initial password for your account is your student ID number. This is the top number on your student ID card. Many (not all), will start with an A followed by several zeros. The full number must be entered and is case sensitive. After logging in the first time the system will require you to change your password.

Once logged in click located in the top right corner.
Click the button on the left. USE INTERNET EXPLORER 7 or above to access the email website. If you use another browser much of the functionality is not available. In addition, the webpage will look differently than is shown on this document.
Click Join a Group A pop up should appear.
On the pop up make sure Student form is highlighted and click Join.
Click close on the warning box that a request will be sent. As soon as a forum administrator approves the join you will be added to the forum as a participant.
